Ms. Julie Bonnel-Rogers is an experienced senior litigator who works hard, litigates smart and thinks creatively with a proven track record for providing clients with effective, personal, and tailored legal representation.
With over two decades of civil litigation and trial experience, the scope of her career has included representation of businesses, investors and property owners in a variety of matters including EB-5 Fraud litigation, Cyber Theft litigation, Intellectual Property/Trade Secret/Unfair Competition litigation Business/Commercial disputes, Contract disputes, Partnership and Shareholder disputes, Commercial Real Estate matters and Construction/Contractors State License Board matters. Ms. Bonnel-Rogers is involved in all aspects of the litigation process, from advising clients on pre-litigation options, filing and responding to lawsuits, handling discovery, arguing law and motion matters, negotiating settlements, trial advocacy, appellate work, and post-judgment collections.
Ms. Bonnel-Rogers is recognized as a leader in representing victims of investor-immigrant fraud (EB-5 fraud). To date, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers has successfully represented groups of immigrant investors in litigation and has recovered more than $20+ million on behalf of defrauded immigrant investors.
Ms. Bonnel-Rogers also has been recognized for her leadership in representing businesses in cyber-security breach matters. She has been a featured speaker and panel participant in numerous security conferences attended by industry leaders and business owners alike. She has been featured and celebrated in the media for her advocacy on behalf of businesses who have been victimized by cyber-theft and wire transfer fraud.
Ms. Bonnel-Rogers received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she graduated with oral advocacy honors and the USF “Advocate of the Year” title.
Prior to entering law school, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers taught English on the Island of Saipan in the Northern Marianas Islands as a volunteer through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and travelled the world extensively.
When not working, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers is an avid hiker who recently completed Mount Whitney and the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim. She also enjoys film festivals and modern art.
